  1. Visit of Lt. Gen. Reydellet to Edwards Air Force Base, 12 September 2002

Letter to Major Coursault, French Embassy, Washington, DC, U.S.A.

“ It was a pleasure to listen to Lt. Gen. Reydellet speak to the local chapter of the International Test and Evaluation Association here at Edwards AFB on Thursday, 12 Sept. His talk was very interesting and well received by the attendees.

After his talk, I discussed the issues of Telemetry Spectrum Encroachment and the International Consortium for Telemetry Spectrum with yourself and the General. Attached please find a brochure on this consortium and its efforts to defend our existing assignments and secure additional spectrum for international telemetry spectrum. The support of the DCE and the French representatives to the World Radio Council on telemetry spectrum agenda items is greatly desired. Today the International Telecommunications Union is debating several topic which effect our telemetry resources. We would be happy to provide you and the General's staff a briefing on these agenda items and background on the on-going debates. Please allow the ICTS to be of service to the DCE in this endeavor. I thank you for your time and support and look forward to working together on the vital international issue of spectrum encroachment ”
