Papers, presentations, selection process

A written technical paper is required for each oral presentation. Original, unpublished papers are solicited.
Selection will be made by the Programme Committee through a formal review process, based on extended abstracts.

Through the submission process, authors guarantee that the submitted material is not covered by a prior copyright, and accept that the ERTS² organising bodies have the right to edit, reproduce and distribute it in print format and/or electronic format.

Abstract Submission

Authors are invited to upload their extended abstract , by June 22^nd 2015

Access online Submission system

- minimum 2 pages, maximum 4 pages
- character size 10,
- in English,
-“PDF” format
- including name and affiliation of author(s);
- a list of keywords (in addition to the selection of the relevant conference topics performed on-line at submission);
- a summary of the submission (denoted "Abstract" in the submission form)
- a positioning with regards to the state of the art
- a summary of major results

The selected abstracts will be printed and distributed to the Conference participants. Therefore colours use in the abstracts is NOT recommended unless readability can be preserved in black-and-white printed form.

Paper Submission

A shepherding process is in place in order to support the preparation of the final paper.
Authors of each selected abstract will have to submit, by October 15^th 2015, their full paper (maximum 10 pages, character size 10, in English, “PDF” format) to the programme committee member designated as the shepherd for this paper.

After agreement final version of the paper shall be uploaded through the on-line submission process by November 15^th 2015.           
The proceedings will be published on electronic support (and therefore colours may be used if needed).

Oral Presentation

Each accepted paper will get a 25’ slot for an oral presentation in English at the Conference (20’ presentation, 5’ questions and answers), by one of its authors who must participate to the Conference. The lecture room will be equipped with a video projector and a computer. Prior to each session, speakers will be invited to contact their session chair or Conference organisers so that their presentation slides (in English, “PPT” or “PDF” format) can be compiled on the appropriate computer before their session starts.

Best paper awards

A best paper award will be granted per topic.
The program committee will preselect finalists during the paper review phase. The jury will announce their decisions during the conference dinner of ERTS 2016.
